Eyyo Check Day2

Eyyo Check is a series of rhymes I do daily, trying to condition my mind for writing again and hopefully, freestyle in the future.

I do this by thinking of words quickly and writing it down with sentence impromptu.

Eyyo
Am in line to my room, got done with breakfast
tryna solve some math, hoping i can pass this class
seats cold as heaven, its seven, to early for a lesson
small people yappin, laughin, be all out actin
that shit dont bother me, feelin like i won the lottery
today was steady, but heavy, fresh like a new born baby
god blessed me, to see things beyond the ordinary
never thought of freestyle, coz i write legibly
make it look easy, like models lookin breezy
its a chance given, to explore another meaning
listen, this shits above the level i was dealin

watchin 8mile, tryna get inspire
the root of my style, with rhymes i dont tire
grow old but stay mentality young
sanity on, is like a laminated drum
never happened, coz everybody got imagination
strung the string and rock, stomp the stage and hulk
incredibly, give the people what they came to see
originality, spit it vividly, takes courage of ability

brushing through my mouth and chin
telling me to swift and speak
every drip of words i think
mental block a lock, keeps my swag on shook
i close my eyes and look for proof
the truth through which i can improve
i lose myself to test what i can do
school by fools who think they knew
believe to achieve what you’ll pursue

i spit shit real, unlike those fake diamond grills
rented cadillacs, tryna be a daddy mack
got a milli in the bank or play money in a sack
frontin like you know it all, lucky coz you ballin
backstabbers on the call, watch out who you ringin
singin on a track coz you lost your train of thought
lemme ring the horn and get you in my fuckin zone

am so high and i ain’t even smokin weed
a natural ability, so green and so fresh
like organic veggies, i fill your mind with zest

Konektado.com – Sunugan Battle Royale @ Ka Freddie’s Bar

Failed on my 1st freestyle battle last night, but who cares?!?.. haha.. its all good.. like what i always keep in mind “ok lang yan”.. thats how we do it on KONEKTADO.com events!!!.. good vibes, peace and along with it comes a strong sportsmanship!!.. SUNUGAN BATTLE ROYALE event was a SUCCESS!!! (^^,)..

Congratz to Dello for winning the 1st Sunugan Battle Royal and 10gz!! Thanks much to Mike Swift for the event, Jed Li (from People’s Future, dude I battled) for the freestyle battle experience, all the participants, everybody who came regardless of the weather condition, and yea Ryan, dude, we gotta practice!!!.. haha

Local installation issue on Magento 1.4 – Cookie Issue

Ok, so it was tough installing Magento locally on a MAMP server. The problem is on Configuration section, I can’t seem to go further into next step when I clicked on Continue. I was able to solve this by following the instruction on this blog.

This works in 1.4 version, latest and current version of Magento.

search for “// session cookie params” line in app\code\core\Mage\Core\Model\Session\Abstract\Varien.php

change

‘domain’ => $cookie->getConfigDomain(),

Throwback!!.. a few tracks I did years ago!!

These are just a few tracks I did when I was young, feel free to listen and download. Meanwhile, am workin on a mixtape containing throwback tracks (which will also include these) and new ones, collaborating with some newcomers. Mixtape will be entitled “Lost”. So why “Lost”?!?, I’ve been gone a couple of years, starting 2005 with my last rhymes “Bad Gurl This, Bad Gurl That”, and just recently, I’ve been going out again, regaining the spirit of hip hop. The gap between 2005 and 2010, I was LOST. New tracks will convey how I recoup my dignity. “I was a young dreamer, but then… I need to cope with reality…”

Finest Joomla! Templates

I’ve been using Joomla! for quite sometime now and I find it very functional and aesthetically pleasing, probably because of it MVC framework and numerous useful extensions from joomla.com. For some reason, I find this CMS technology inline with Magento, and other companies like Apple, Google, and Adobe. After testing a few templates from various template businesses, joomlart.com templates fits my layout and design needs. Unlike other business templates, I notice joomlart.com strongly follows w3school.com’s web standard attributes of web designing along with web 2.0 trend. What I like most is how they choose the colors, it contrast between the background and foreground color. Anyways, checkout their website Joomlart.com and judge their designs for yourself.

so its been awhile, i’ve been really busy this summer, even though i just stayed here at EGI dorm, I had a bunch of activities going on simultaneously. Not only that, am starting to see the bigger picture, the question thats been bugging me, and finally this summer i was able to find the answer. :) .. Ofcourse, i could have not done it without the help of few people who stayed regardless of my low energy “emo” attitude i had for the past 4yrs, and am really thankful i met them. (^^,).. and now i can officially say, I’ve broken that barrier in my life thats been keeping me from the things i wanted to achieve.. :) ..

so lately, activities i’ve been engaging to are websites.. i’ve been doing konektadoTV version 2 for Mike Swift. through this i was able to apply the IS & business system books/articles i’ve read when i was in vegas. am applying business here, don’t get me wrong, i still and will always have madd respect for the art “hip hop”. not only am i doing websites, i’ve been also going out, attending Mike’s events, just trying to expose myself and get myself use to meeting new people. am also planning to go back to music, and yea, i’ve been doing a few collaborations and yea, I did a track with Mike Swift and them about hip hop revolution.. chyeaaa.. this is my root and it was such a relief composing those rhymes.. i’ve also been working out, jogging at roxas blvd and boxing at elorde gym. hehe.. just trying to be energetic and lose a lil weight.. :) ..

well, more things to come.. after summer, expect more changes with RLynOnline.com..

closer to my dreams

something i did earlier.. was excited to record, but then my net signal is hella slow.. so yea.. tomorrow, track will be posted..

i was feeling the same, but i told myself, i’d never feel pain again
but sometimes, you just gotta slow down and let everything sync in

its another night, and i feel so alone
eventhough they care for me i gotta do this on my own
there are some things, that are better left unknown
these lines i compose, is a feeling i uncover

i find it hard to say, the reason why i feel
the reason why i cry, the reason why i conceal
am closer to my dreams, and it seems, i can grip
its pieces to the puzzle i’ve been aspiring to complete

i don’t wanna think, i wanna let it out
grab every drip of my emotion till my sense is out
i don’t wanna feel pain, am through with all these games
am tired of feeling the same, walking down this lane

this too shall pass, but for now i wipe these tears
have faith in God and have reason to live
a couple of hours left, till another morning hits
another day to walk, for this strength i thank Him

this is just what am feeling as of moment
this emotions, i gotta let it out, and not think for awhile
so i bring you, something simple and eloquent, yet straight from the heart
